Asset Finance

There are a number of ways to raise capital apart from the more traditional methods.

For example, asset finance provides a number of options for SMEs.

The most straightforward is providing funds to purchase assets required to make a business successful, such as plant and machinery.

However there is also the opportunity to inject money into the business by borrowing against the assets you already own. The asset-based lender will refinance the equipment, pay off your existing finance agreement, if applicable, and take a charge over it until the loan is paid off.

If you actually buy and sell plant and machinery, there may also be the opportunity to borrow the money to buy the equipment, subject to a firm order being in place prior to purchase.
